Registration Deadlines

Players 8 years of age and older on August 1st must be registered by May 24, 2008 to avoid a $15 late fee and must be registered by June 14th to ensure a place on a fall team. Players younger than 8 years of age must also be registered by June 14, 2008 to ensure a place in the fall 2008 recreational season and avoid a $15 late fee. Players registering after the appropriate deadline will not be guaranteed a place on a roster and may be placed on a waiting list.

General Information

The cost of registration for the 2008-2009 seasonal year is $100 for players in third grade or higher (or older than 8 years of age on July 31, 2008) and $60 for players in kindergarten through second grades. There is a $5 discount for each additional player in a family. The travel team registration fee for players in third through eighth grade includes a new association uniform.

Currently registered players from the 2007-2008 in East Lyme Schools should receive an information flyer through their schools in early May. All others please go ahead and download the registration form from this website. Players may register by mail by sending a registration form, the registration fee, a copy of the player's birth certificate (for player's who do not already have a copy of their birth certificate on file with the association), and a picture of the player (for players 8 years of age and older on August 1st) to :

Refund Policy

Travel teams (U10 and up):

Before start of tryouts: 100 percent refund
Between start of tryouts and start of practice: $35
After practice starts: None

Recreational Players (K-2 program):

Before team formation (July 15th): 100 percent refund
After team formation but before first session: $25
After first session starts: None

Playing with Grade Peers

Players in 3rd, 5th, and 7th grade, who by birth date are in a lower age division, may request on their registration form to be assigned to a team with their grade peers. These players will be assigned to a Recreational Plus team unless they participate in try outs and are selected to a Club League team.
