Travel Soccer Registration Timeline
May 18 - Last Day to Register for Fall ‘24 / Spring ‘25 Travel Soccer (3rd-8th grade) for players wishing to take part in evaluations for placement on the most competitive teams (Gold, Silver). Register Here.
May 19 – Player evaluations for certain age groups (see details here).
June 1 - Last day to register for Fall ‘24 / Spring ‘25 Travel Soccer at the standard price ($125). Register Here.
June 2 – Player evaluations for remaining age groups (see details here).
June 1 – July 31. Registration for all travel soccer age groups will be “Waitlist Only.” Players accepted from waitlist can then fully register and pay the $125 fee plus a $25 late fee. Players can be accepted from the waitlist if there’s space on an existing team (e.g., if another player drops out) or if there are sufficient players on the waitlist to form an additional team AND there’s a parent/volunteer who is able to coach that extra team.
Team placement notifications will be sent out after the school year ends (June 14 or later).
August 1. After this point, waitlist players can be accepted ONLY if an existing player drops out.
What if I missed Registration? Reach out to [email protected]. If you are new to town, we understand and will do our best to accommodate you. If you are a prior member, please understand that it is very difficult on the club to accept registrations outside of the regular registration period. Adding players after registration is closed upsets the mechanics of team creation and causes a lot of work for our volunteers. Our early deadlines are due to the complications of obtaining birth certificates from parents to verify players’ ages, getting photos for player cards, background checks & required online training for volunteers, creating competitive teams, rostering the teams with the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association, creating practice and team schedules all so the kids can play. Please note that while we make efforts to help with late registrations, it is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to abide by our registration timelines.
Summer HS soccer program
Registration closes June 7th. Program starts in late June, with 2 weeknight practices (after 5pm) and 6-7 games in July/August. Register Here.
Fall PreK-2nd Grade Recreational Soccer
Registration closes July 31st. We have a longer registration period for the recreational program, since the administrative process is less stringent for in-town recreational soccer (eg, player birth certificates & photos not needed; don't need to submit teams to CJSA) compared to travel soccer. With that said, we still need time to solicit and assign parent volunteer coaches, create balanced teams, etc. Adding players after the registration period is difficult on our volunteers and can result in unbalanced teams. We will do our best to accommodate late sign-ups, but please understand that it may not be possible to add players after the registration window.
