Recreational Soccer Program - PreK-2nd Grade
Our PreK through Grade 2 Recreational Soccer program is designed to teach players fundamental skills with many touches on the ball and limited time standing in lines. Our youngest players are taught skills through engaging drills and imaginative play. Older players build skills through more complex, multi-step drills that involve individual and teamwork elements. Our goal is to foster each player's love of soccer while enhancing skills at all levels.

Weekly Field Assignments: Each team is assigned a name that corresponds to their color jersey. Weekly field assignments are emailed to families prior to each session. Field assignments change weekly to accommodate scrimmages at the end of each session. Weekly maps of field assignments will be posted near Keser and Berardo and each soccer goal will have a colored tie to help players/families find their field/team.
Session Format: Volunteer coaches will receive grade-specific lesson plans prior to each session. Each week grade-level teams complete the same drills throughout the session, with a 10-20 minute small-sided scrimmage at the end. In addition to each team's volunteer coach(es), a professional trainer will be stationed at Keser and Berardo to provide assistance and feedback to all teams during every session.
First Session Expectations: A check-in table will be set-up on Keser to distribute equipment bags and player jerseys to volunteer coaches and to help direct players to their first week's field assignments.
